Welcome back to my blog. Today I'm going to be sharing with you my writing doc for this week.
We were given a youtube clip of 7 years old boys running an 800-meter track race. We had to write bullet points describing one idea and then we had to put all of the bullet points into a paragraph.
Here is my work...
- The people cheering
- Kids behind me puffing
- Thumping Feet
- The Guidelines guys telling me where to go
- The pistol gunshot booming!
- The guy in the high vis jacket telling me where to stand
I stood with my head held high as I waited for the gun to go. The guy in the high vis corrected me
telling me where to stand. 321 ‘BOOM’ goes the gun. The joyful noise of cheering people gave
me heaps of confidence (AHH) Huff Huff The deep breath of the children behind me.
The thump of the shoes slamming against the ground. I could see the hands of the guidelines guys
pointing to where I had to go.

ReplyDeleteI really like this post. What I like about it is that the sentences make sense and are very very interesting and it also made me get exited by the sound of it.
I think you should fix up some of the words because some of it is going off of the side but luckily you can still read it.
